The different household plants need a specific amount of sunlight. It depends upon where they grow. If your plant needs direct sunlight, then provide them with 6 hours of sunlight. If they require moderate sunlight, there should be 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. If your plants need indirect sunlight, keep them some feet away from a window all the time.
